About Tony

After 25 years of Upscale dining experiences here in Cincinnati, diners have taught me a lot about what they desire. I have been fortunate to provide this community countless special evenings where they enjoyed a great meal with family and friends. It has truly been an honor and a privilege. It has also been a two-way street as I learned something every night myself - the nuance of friendly banter to make a guest feel comfortable, the importance of the little details because they all matter and, of course, the food.

Ahh the food. I was lucky...I knew early on that my place in life was to serve great food. Ever since coming to the United States from Italy as a young boy I knew. Being in my mother's kitchen and experiencing the satisfaction she got in serving others made me realize this was where I was happiest. Whether it was homemade ravioli, delightful cannoli desserts or a succulent leg of lamb I was hooked!

Realizing my own dreams today, I opened Tony's to provide that unique experience. It is not just about great food - there are other places where you can get a great meal. It is about that one-of-a-kind evening where everything is clicking. The ambience, the energy of the staff, the smiles on our guests faces - it all spells memorable evening.
